I just got home from the last game of the regular season for the San Jose Sharks. And what a game it was! Trailing 2 to 3 against the visiting Canucks, Jonathan Cheechoo scored with only 30 seconds left in the third to force overtime. But before we get to the final outcome, lets reverse time to before the start of the game.
When I arrived, I made my way to the Una Mas! Mexican Grill located in the HP Pavilion. I ordered nachos, a large soda, and then headed to my seats in section 212 before digging into the box of chip and cheese goodness.

There are essentially two nacho variants (cheese sauce or grated cheese) and Una Mas! selects the more traditional method of melting grated cheese directly on top of the chips. Then, still staying inside the acceptable limit, they top their nachos with beans, sour cream, guacamole, and pico. Where these nachos really shine, though, are in the chips. The tortilla chips were thin, crispy, warm, and didn’t loose their crunch and become soggy halfway through.
Getting back to the game…
In the end, the Canucks scored during the power play and won the game with a final score of 4 to 3. But all was not lost. It was an exciting match up between two teams at the top of their game, and I had some delicious nachos to go along with it.
